Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.1.6 for Novell® GroupWise®
Overview
HTML email is not supported in BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1.6 for Novell GroupWise, and the option can not be enabled in the BlackBerry Manager.
Cause
Limitation on 6.5.7 client, Novell has not ported required API calls from 7.0 to 6.5 for handling HTML email rendering from the BES to handheld.
Resolution
Upgrade the Novell GroupWise client to 7.0.2 HP1a or later. Please see KB04164 for more information on upgrading the Novell GroupWise Client to a supported version.
