Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.1 SP3 and earlier for Novell® GroupWise®
- Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) mode
- SDR121423
Overview
When the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is running in Object Application Programming Interface (OAPI) mode and then switches to SOAP mode on the same BlackBerry Configuration Database, the SOAP connector fails to log in. This may also happen when switching from one BlackBerry Configuration Database running SOAP to another BlackBerry Configuration Database running SOAP.
You will see the following lines in the Groupwise SOAP Connector (GWSC) log: [34154] (02/23 10:51:37):{0x1084} {GWSC} {GWSOAPConnector} Mailstore test start, test level=1
[34116] (02/23 10:51:37):{0x1084} {GWSC} {devadmin} Login: Start

Resolution
Install BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1 SP4 or later for Novell GroupWise.
