KB11477 - Export BlackBerry device user information from the BlackBerry Manager to a file
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software versions 4.0 and 4.1
- IBM® Lotus® Domino®
- Novell® GroupWise®
- Microsoft® Exchange
Overview
BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.0 or later
- Open the BlackBerry Handheld Configuration Tool.
- Select Handhelds, and then select all of the BlackBerry device users.
- From the Tasks list, select Export Asset Summary Data.
- In the Save As dialogue box, choose either ANSI or Unicdode file types (each contains a .txt file extension) and specify a file name.
BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1 or later
- Open BlackBerry Manager.
- Select BlackBerry Domain in Explorer view, then select the All Users tab.
- Select a BlackBerry device user (or multiple BlackBerry device users).
- From the Tasks list select Device Management > Export Asset Summary Data.
- In the Save As dialogue box, choose either ANSI or Unicdode file types (each contains a .txt file extension) and specify a file name.
Note: Your BlackBerry Enterprise Server should be running software version 4.1 Service Pack 2. There were some issues with previous versions.
