KB19332 - In a hosted BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment calendar availability is accessible for all hosted companies
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server versions 4.1 and 5.0 for Microsoft® Exchange
- Microsoft® Exchange 2003 and 2007
- SDR214370
Overview
In a hosted Microsoft Exchange and BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment, BlackBerry smartphone users are able to perform a calendar availability lookup for other Microsoft Exchange hosted companies.
For example, there are two hosted companies on the Microsoft Exchange Server and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is enabled for hosted environments. A BlackBerry smartphone user in company A can perform a lookup of calendar availability by typing in the email address of a user in company B, and the BlackBerry smartphone user will have results returned.
Resolution
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. No resolution time frame is currently available.
