KB18792 - Unable to install High Availability because the option is grayed out
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 5.0
Overview
When trying to install High Availability on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the option is grayed out.
Cause
The database detects that there is already a instance of High Availability installed.
Resolution
- Log in to the BlackBerry Administration Site.
- Expand Solution Topology.
- Select BlackBerry Domain.
- Select Component View.
- Look for the instance that is set to Stand By. To the left, click the Trash Can icon.
- There will be a warning message that comes up, scroll down to the bottom and then select Yes - Delete the instance.
