Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for IBM® Lotus® Domino®
- BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager
Overview
The login screen for BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager does not load and displays the following error message:
The Internet ID or Password is not correct. Please re-enter
Cause
The cause of this error might be one of the following:
- The BlackBerry smartphone user was not added to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
- The Domino Internet Inter-object request broker Protocol (DIIOP) task is not loading.
- The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) task is not loading.
- The emailDomino_serverURL is specified incorrectly in the bas-config.properties file.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:
- Confirm that the BlackBerry smartphone user is listed on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
- Issue the command show tasks from the IBM® Lotus® Domino® console.
- Confirm that there are 3 entries for DIIOP Server.
- Confirm that there is an entry for HTTP Server.
- If these tasks are not present, complete the following steps:
- Run the load DIIOP command in the IBM Lotus Domino console.
- Run the load HTTP command in the IBM Lotus Domino console.
- The bas-config.properties file is located in C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Administration Service\Server\default\conf\ The entry should have following format: emailDomino_serverUrl=. Note: There should not be a http:// or https:// before the domain name.
