Overview
If a BlackBerry smartphone user is out of coverage while being moved from one BlackBerry Enterprise Server to another, the user move will not complete successfully. Cause
While moving a BlackBerry smartphone user, who is out of coverage, to another BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not recognize that the BlackBerry smartphone user is out of coverage. As a result, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server queues and then cancels the switch service process. Resolution
Upgrade to BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 SP5 Workaround
Verify the BlackBerry smartphone user is in coverage before moving the account.
This can be done using the Out of Coverage utility included in the BlackBerry Resource Kit or by checking the MAGT log for the BlackBerry smartphone user using the following log lines:
