Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 5.0
- BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager
- SDR355835
Overview
The following error message occurs when trying to create a BlackBerry Device Software configuration in the BlackBerry Administration Service to allow users to upgrade the device software from the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager the following error occurs:
One or more BlackBerry Device Software bundles were detected for a specific carrier. No devices exist in the system for this carrier. The bundles were not added.
This error is encountered when the Execute shared network drive scan command is run.
Cause
This issue is encountered when either of the following software bundles have been installed to the network share for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server:
These two version of device software are not listed in the Vendor.XML used by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Resolution
This is scheduled to be resolved in BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0 MR2.
