KB17409 - Unable to view attachments when filed to a subfolder

Overview
When emails are received on the BlackBerry smartphone, and filed to a subfolder, attachments cannot be opened. If the email message is delivered directly to the Inbox folder, attachments can be opened.
Cause
This is a previously reported issue that has been escalated internally to our development team. It will be addressed in a future release of the device software. No resolution time frame is currently available.
Workaround
Avoid filing messages with attachments to subfolders and/or remove any mail client filters that automatically file messages to subfolders.
