Environment
- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System version 4.6
- BlackBerry® smartphones
Overview
To change the ring type in BlackBerry MVS version 4.6, complete the following steps:
- Log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI.
- Click My Settings at the top of the page.
- Select Profile > Remote Device Options.
- Select one of the following ring type types:
- Simultaneous - rings all devices at the same time
- Sequential - rings at the desk phone first, and then any remote devices in order of priority (if no priority is set, they will ring in the order they are listed)
- Hybrid - rings at the desk phone first and then rings all active remote devices simultaneously
