KB18113 - How to configure Do Not Disturb settings in BlackBerry MVS 4.6
KB18113 - How to configure Do Not Disturb settings in BlackBerry Mobile Voice System 4.6
Environment
- BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System version 4.6
- BlackBerry® smartphones
Overview
To configure Do Not Disturb settings in BlackBerry MVS version 4.6, complete the following steps:
- Log in to the BlackBerry MVS web UI.
- Click My Settings at the top of the page.
- Select Profile > Do Not Disturb.
- Change Enable Do Not Disturb to Yes.
Additional Information
If Enable Allowed Callers exceptions is turned on, callers who appear on the BlackBerry MVS user's Allowed Callers list will be allowed to contact the user. This feature relies on the Do Not Disturb feature being turned on.
Turning on the Off-Hours Warning will cause callers to hear a warning message that they are attempting to contact the Blackberry MVS user during off-hours. For this feature to work, a phone schedule must be configured.
If the Off-Hours warning is turned on and a schedule is configured, turning on the Do Not Disturb feature will automatically send callers who do not appear on the Allowed Callers list to voice mail while off-hours are in effect. If Do not Disturb is turned off and the off-hours warning is turned on, callers will have the option to ring the Blackberry MVS user or be sent straight to voice mail so they can leave a voice message.
