KB14448 - CalHelper is using 100% of processing resources
KB14448 - CalHelper is using 100% of processing resources
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.0 and 4.1
- SDR114515
Overview
CalHelper is using 100% of processing resources. Utilization does not decrease.
Cause
A calendar mail file corruption in the calendar stores of BlackBerry smartphone users is causing the Collaboration Data Object (CDO) to enter a continuous loop.
Resolution
To identify the individual contacts that may cause the calendar mail file corruption, search the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Mailbox Agent logs for the following log line: CDO helper returned error '99' failed for LongTermEntryId
For more information on resolving this issue, see article 938618 at Microsoft Help and Support.
Workaround
If Error 99 is displayed, disable wireless calendar synchronization using an IT policy while investigating the corruption.
