- On the BlackBerry smartphone go to Options, and then go to Advanced Options.
- Open Service Book.
- Highlight the first Desktop [CICAL] or Desktop [SYNC], press the Menu button, select Delete, and then confirm the deletion.
- Repeat the previous step for each listing of Desktop [CICAL] or Desktop [SYNC]
From BlackBerry Manager, right-click the BlackBerry smartphone user's account and click Resend the service books.
Workaround 2
To reset the Calendar or Address Book, complete the following steps:
- Open the Calendar or Address Book application.
- Press the menu key and select option.
- Type the letters R S E T , this will clear and synchronize the Calendar or Address Book database, over the wireless network, from the messaging server.
