Overview
The red padlock icon indicates the specified option cannot be modified.
Cause
An IT policy set by the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator on BlackBerry smartphones will not allow BlackBerry smartphone users to change the option.
Resolution
Please contact your BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator for additional information.
Additional Information
In BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.1.6 MR3 for IBM® Lotus® Domino®, there is an identified issue when a BlackBerry smartphone user receive a signed email, the recipient will receive this email message also with a padlock on the email icon. This is not an expected behaviour and it has been fixed in version 4.1.6 MR4.
