KB05115 - Installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server updates remotely
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server
- IBM® Lotus® Domino®
- Microsoft® Exchange
- Novell® GroupWise®
Overview
You are recommended to perform all BlackBerry Enterprise Server updates when logged into the local computer. Using remote administration (such as Microsoft Terminal Services) to perform upgrades can cause issues with the software installation.
However, if you do plan to install updates over a network using remote administration, you must adhere to any remote administration requirements specified in the appropriate version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Installation Guide.
