Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.0 and earlier
- BlackBerry Device Software version 4.0 and earlier
Overview
At the end of Enterprise Activation the following error occurs: Some databases failed to synchronize: Address Book.
Cause
Distribution Lists are not supported by the BlackBerry smartphone. This is by design.
Additional Information
Blank contact entries and distribution lists do not synchronize to the BlackBerry smartphone during the Enterprise Activation and can cause the same error message.
