Environment
- BlackBerry® Desktop Software 4.0
- BlackBerry® Device Software 4.0 and 4.2
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 4.0 and 4.1
- IBM® Lotus® Domino®
- Microsoft® Exchange
Overview
Public and private folders cannot be wirelessly synchronized with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software versions 4.0 and 4.1 because the folders do not reside in the BlackBerry user’s mailbox.
Synchronize public and private folders
- Disable wireless synchronization for the personal information management (PIM) item you want to synchronize.
- Connect the BlackBerry to your computer.
- Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager, perform a PIM synchronization.
- If you receive an Intellisync Warning (shown below) after completing the preceding steps, see KB03315 for more information.
