KB17518 - "One or more errors occurred. Some blackberry users were not created" when creating multiple user accounts in the BlackBerry Administration Service
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server version 5.0
Overview
When creating multiple user accounts in the BlackBerry Administration Service, the following error message is received:
One or more errors occurred. Some blackberry users were not created
Cause
One or more of the users selected for creation have incorrect information within the MSAddresses tables in the BlackBerry Configuration Database.
Resolution
Wait 24 hours for the Automatic refresh of MSAddresses from the company directory (GAL).
Workaround
Manually refresh the MSAddresses table by clicking Refresh available user list from company directory.
Additional Information
The MSAddresses table is populated every 24 hours by the BlackBerry Mail Store Service, which is installed as part of the BlackBerry Administration Service. This service queries the GAL and imports the data into this table so that the BlackBerry Administration Service does not have to query the GAL directly all the time.
