Overview
This article lists the new or additional system requirements for installing BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1 SP3 to 5.0 in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 environment. This article also lists requirements for remote installation of some components of BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 4.1 SP3 to 5.0.

Operating system
Install the following:
- Windows Server® 2003 Service Pack 1
- Internet Service Manager component of Internet Information Services from your Windows® installation media
Messaging and collaboration server
Install one of the following:
- Microsoft Exchange Server Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) Client and Collaboration Data Objects (CDOs) 1.2.1

BlackBerry® Mobile Data System (BlackBerry MDS) remote installation
Install the following:
- Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (Standard, Enterprise or Small Business Server)
- Internet Service Manager component of Internet Information Services from your Windows installation media
Install one of the following:
- Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and CDOs 1.2.1
