KB15991 - Service specific error 5203 when starting BlackBerry Synchronization Service

* BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software versions 4.0 and 4.1 for IBM® Lotus® Domino®
Overview
When you attempt to start the BlackBerry Synchronization Service or the BlackBerry Policy Service, the following error is displayed:
Windows could not start the BlackBerry Synchronization Service on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor and refer to service-specific error code 5203.
Cause
The server name on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software is installed is either missing or is incorrect in the registry.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps to verify the ImagePath string value contains the correct name of the server:
Warning: The following procedure involves modifying the computer registry. This can cause substantial damage to the Windows® operating system. Document and back up the registry entries prior to implementing any changes.
1. Open the Registry Editor and navigate to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BlackBerry SyncServer
2. Verify that the ImagePath string value contains the canonical name of the IBM Lotus Domino server. For example,
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\SyncServer\BlackBerrySyncServer.exe” –BES “Name of the Server
3. Restart the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services.
Important: Restarting certain BlackBerry Enterprise Server services will delay email message delivery to BlackBerry smartphones. For more information, see KB04789.
