Overview
The BlackBerry smartphone user is unable to receive email messages or attachments that are generated by a voice mail system.
Cause
The email messages generated by the voice mail system are being sent using Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).
Resolution
Do not use IMAP to access voice mail email messages.
