Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 4.1 Service Pack 6 (4.1.6) for Microsoft® Exchange
Overview
The BlackBerry Calendar Synchronization Tool executable file is TraitTool.exe. The BlackBerry Calendar Synchronization Tool runs on the computer hosting the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software to find and correct differences between the calendar entries on a BlackBerry smartphone and the BlackBerry smartphone user's computer.
The BlackBerry Calendar Synchronization Tool allows the configuration of the following:
- The recurring day and time of checks for synchronization errors
- The number of days in the future to check for synchronization errors
- Whether to check all BlackBerry smartphone users, BlackBerry smartphone users on a specific messaging server, or a single BlackBerry smartphone user
The BlackBerry Synchronization Tool requires the following:
- Log in to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server service account credentials
- Microsoft® .NET Framework 1.1 and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or 3.0 installed on the computer
