- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 5.0
Overview
BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 5.0 allows administrators to assign nested groups in a parent and child group relationship. When a user account is a member of a group that is a child of another group, the group assignment of the parent group is defined as Indirect group. When a user account is a direct member of a group, the group assignment of the group is defined as Group Assignment.
In the following example, Group 3 is a child group of Group 1. Group 3 and Group 2 are assigned to the user account.
