KB17507 - How to monitor an activation in BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 5.0
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 5.0
Overview
BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 5.0 provides administrators with the ability to monitor the current status of an activation of a BlackBerry smartphone using the enterprise activation process. This feature can be used to check the status of a single BlackBerry smartphone during the enterprise activation process, or it can be used to verify that a previous activation completed correctly.
Resolution
To search for the status of an activation, complete the following steps:
- Open the BlackBerry Administration Service.
- In the Devices menu, expand Wireless activations.
- Click View activations.
- If searching for a specific BlackBerry smartphone user, type the display name, personal identification number (PIN), email address, or user ID of the BlackBerry smartphone user. Otherwise, specify a time frame of when the enterprise activation process took place.
- To view all stages of an activation that has not been completed, select the Not completed option.
- In the Activation criteria window, set the drop-down list to be blank.
- To view completed activations for the BlackBery smartphone user, select the Completed option.
- Click Search.
