KB17644 - Unable to log in to the BlackBerry Administration Service or BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager
Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 5.0
Overview
When attempting to log in to BlackBerry Administration Service or BlackBerry® Web Desktop Manager, no result is produced, or the web page displayed is blank.
Cause
The BlackBerry Administration Service or BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager components require JavaScript® to be turned on in the browser to complete the login process.
Resolution
To configure Microsoft® Internet Explorer® security settings, complete the following steps:
- Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- Click Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Under Internet and Local intranet, click Custom Level.
- Under the Scripting heading, make sure that the Active Scripting field is set to Enabled.
