Environment
- BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software version 4.0 Service Pack 7 (4.0.7) to 4.1 for Novell® GroupWise®
- BlackBerry smartphone
Overview
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.0.7 to 4.1 for Novell GroupWise, the BlackBerry Messaging Agent process might stop collecting new email messages. BlackBerry smartphone users are able to send email messages but are unable to receive new email messages.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, restart the BlackBerry Controller in Microsoft® Windows® Services. For information on restarting the BlackBerry Controller, see KB04789.
