Hey, like Dawg, I agree with you. He is a gifted athlete, and a positively good human being. I'm not even remotely a Tebow hater, but yeah, I was getting pretty sick of the announcers the other night. Not Tebow's fault, I totally understand.

I actually have a lot of respect for the Gators, and I like Urban Meyer. I could have probably been classified as a "Gator-hator" during the Spurrier years, and the fault for that can be laid directly at the feet of motor-mouth Steve. To compare and contrast, as you said, no argument that Tebow's a gifted athlete and a really good guy. On the other hand, Spurrier is a gifted coach who comes across as a total dick.

Had the Gators not been playing a Big 12 team in the MNC, I might have been honestly cheering for them. I'd not hesitate to cheer for them against USC. Definitely against Notre Dame. Most of the Big 10 - although now that I'm marrying a Buckeye later this year, have to temper that against the Bucks.
